Gen7 “Free Fuel for a Year” Sweepstakes – Official Rules

1. Eligibility

The Gen7 “Free Fuel for a Year” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of Ontario and British Columbia, Canada, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Proof of residency may be required.

Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Gen7 Fuel, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and immediate family members or individuals residing in the same household are not eligible. Corporations or other business entities are also not eligible. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

2. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins on June 16, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. EST and ends on August 31, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST.

3. How to Enter

Automatic Entry:

Limit three (3) entries per person per day, regardless of the number of qualifying purchases made. To qualify, make a single purchase of $30 CAD or more (before tax) at any participating Gen7 Fuel location, either in-store or at the pump. Swipe or scan your registered Gen7 Cash Rewards card at checkout. Each eligible transaction earns one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes, up to the daily limit of three (3) entries. Please be advised that email communications will be sent to all individuals entered, irrespective of their subscription preferences. 

4. Prize Details

A total of eight (8) Grand Prizes will be awarded—one per participating Gen7 Fuel location.

Each Grand Prize includes:

  • $3,000 CAD added to the winner’s loyalty card, representing the approximate equivalent of “Free Fuel for a Year.”

Prize Conditions:

  • The prize has no cash value and is non-transferable.
  • No substitutions allowed, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
  • Valid only at participating Gen7 Fuel locations.
  • Lost, stolen, or damaged cards will not be replaced.
  • Attempts to sell, duplicate, or fraudulently use the prize will result in disqualification.
  • Winners may be required to show government-issued ID and sign a declaration of eligibility and liability/publicity release.
  • Gen7 Fuel reserves the right to verify eligibility and revoke the prize in cases of suspected misconduct.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries for each location, on or around September 2, 2025.

Selected entrants will be contacted via phone or email.

To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:

  • Correctly answer a four-part mathematical skill-testing question without assistance and within a set time limit.

If the selected entrant is ineligible, cannot be contacted within 5 business days, or fails the skill-testing question, an alternate winner may be selected.

6. Publicity

By accepting a prize, winners agree that Gen7 Fuel may use their first name, city of residence, and photograph (including images taken during fulfillment) for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

7. Privacy

All personal information collected will be used solely to administer the Sweepstakes in accordance with Gen7 Fuel’s Privacy Policy and will not be shared without consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Gen7 Fuel is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries.
  • Gen7 Fuel is not responsible for technical malfunctions or damage to a participant’s device.
  • Prizes must be accepted “as is.” No substitutions will be made.

9. General Conditions

Gen7 Fuel reserves the right to:

  • Disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process or violates these rules.
  • Cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes due to fraud, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

All decisions by Gen7 Fuel are final. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws. It is governed by the laws of Canada, Ontario, and British Columbia, and complies with the Competition Act (Canada) and Consumer Protection Act (Ontario).

11. Release of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Gen7 Fuel, its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any claims, damages, or losses arising from participation or prize use.

12. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is required to enter or win. Making a purchase does not increase your chances of winning.
